Hello Everyone…Scout here!

The word for the day is PEACE.

From what we have heard around the barn, PEACE is not something that a lot of humans are feeling these days.

For me and my friends, PEACE comes in different ways.

Being together, close up or even at a distance across the field.  We know that we have each other without saying a word.

When we do speak, our words are different than human words. They are quiet and unspoken, letting our actions speak louder than words.  We say what we mean and mean what we say with sometimes a swift kick and then it is back to business as usual.  That business is keeping our herd (family) together, even if it feels that we have no control.  Together we know that we have each other.

Today, focus on the meaning of PEACE for you, for your family, for your friends…for your herd.

These are some things that my friends and I thought of that you could do by yourself or with your herd.

Practice being still, to hear PEACE.

Start writing down the words or things that bring you PEACE, so on those days that difficult to navigate, you can read them and know you have PEACE.

Make pictures of PEACE….all kinds of colors and textures.

Keep PEACE close by, in writing, art and thought.

We hope you have a blessed day of PEACE….Scout here….over and out!

My friends Brea and Ruby would like to leave you with their thought of PEACE.

Thank you to our human friend Anne Hack who took this picture
