Burton L. Warner (Secretary/Treasurer) is a television and feature film producer and writer with more than thirty-five years of industry experience. He began his career in 1988 while earning his M.F.A. in Screenwriting from The American University in Washington, D.C., where he studied under Arnošt Lustig and worked with the Mayor’s Office of Television & Film Development. After graduating, he worked on UPN’s The Untouchables and went on to build a wide-ranging career across studio and independent film and television, earning membership in both the Directors Guild of America and IATSE. Warner has held senior production and executive roles for companies including Banana Brothers Entertainment, Confidential Pictures, Firewall Productions, and Twentieth Century Fox, overseeing projects from development through post-production. His credits include The Chronicle, Marigold, Novel Romance, Dead of Winter, and King of Killers, with a story and writing credit on Hostile Takeover (2025). In addition to his production work, he has written and polished scripts for studios, networks, and independent producers, and has long been active as a mentor to emerging filmmakers through The American University.
